STORM

It started about 8 25 with a boat load of rain, then the HAIL came roaring down. Thought was to move the newest of the cars (Lexus SUV) close to the front porch and in the curve of the house. Well at least it was a PRO active thought, didn't help but again it was a TRY!

8:29 some big thumpers of hail hit, but no takers on going outside to see if anything got dinged. By 8:37 the flights are back at TYS and the night birds were singing. Oh and the 108 pound golden was officially OUT of the bed and roaming around the kitchen looking for food...good sign we are either clear or in a lull!

Rocky!

In the corner of the front porch roof there is a hole that has been open for 28 years. One of those "ya know I really need to put some cedar over that one day" places.

Well, if I do put a door on it I better get Rocky a dang KEY! He showed up a week ago and this morning when I ambled out to get the papers he had a BUDDY up there. Not sure if it was just a sleep over or true love? Either way the cute has worn off and it is time for an eviction notice.

Easter at the bunker

Mom got a great basket packed with EASTER goodies, along with a new Easter outfit. Naturally the plan was to make her feel guilty with all the gifts and cause her to buy us lunch!

Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny was hanging out with a bird in the side yard two years ago. Since then I have never gotten another basket. I asked my Mother why and she said the bird took him cause it had a knife.

Again this is Mexico in March. If you wanta go this place is about 40 miles north of Cancun and 2 miles off of the highway, real laid back but with just about anything you might care to do.

FOOLISH FOLLIES

Saturday the lower class of Maryville, Tennessee gathered to beg money for a few deserving charities. Raging into Wilson chapel on the Maryville College campus came a cast of mis-fits and criminals who managed to put on a show that had the audience running for the doors in wide eyed terror. Barny or is it Barney, the latest dead actor from the Andy show came back from the grave to host and the beautiful mid-day lady at WIVK sang two wonderful numbers although she reportedly has been great with child for 18 months. A wonderful time was had by all.
